This exhibition explores America’s love affair with the car, and how the “Great American Road trip” continues to be a major part of American history and culture. The investigative spirit of the road trip, long rooted in American culture, is reflected in the work of a group of contemporary artists who employ themes of location and memory to produce an experiential evaluation of Americans on the road. Common Tread is being presented in collaboration with Begovich Gallery at California State University Fullerton.
